MATTAWAN TEACHERS: THIS IS FOR YOU!
Do you have a great idea for improving or enriching the quality of your instructional program that isn't in the budget? ... Would have to come out of your pocket to make it happen? ... Could make a difference for your students?
Your very own Mattawan Public Education Foundation (MPEF) is back this year for our annual effort to match foundation funds with your instructional needs. To begin with, we have simplified the application process. And, as always, we will encourage creativity and original thinking, but it is not a necessary ingredient in order to be considered for an award. MPEF seeks to support teaching and learning whenever we are able.
We will be accepting applications for Brain Strong Instruction Awards in the fall of 2019. The process is simple: Follow this link to the application, fill out the simplified form, hit the send button, and that's it. No muss, no fuss. MPEF board member will consider the applications and, with the input of building principals and the tech department (if necessary), identify applicants to be awarded. Keep in mind that any requests related to technology must be consistent with existing MCS technology initiatives. Keep in mind, also, that successful applicants establish a compelling need related to teaching and learning.
All applications will be submitted and reviewed online. Funds must be expended and/or reimbursed by April 30, 2020. We will be accepting applications for Brain Strong Instruction Awards, starting now, until Friday, October 11, 2019. The Brain Strong Awards will be announced on Friday, November 8, 2019.
You are a difference maker, and we would like to make a difference for you.
